This is truly the last frontier and a journey of a life time!

 • Climb Sierra Negra volcano to see the 10000 meters wide crater
 • Check out the Green sand Beach

Departure Ports
Baltra in the Galapagos Islands is where you will board your ship. Normally one would have to fly in to Quito, Ecuador and take a flight to Baltra from there. But depending on the weather and the shifting migration patterns, you may have to embark your ship from P. Baquerizo a small volcanic island or North Seymour which lies a little away from Baltra or even Punta Suarez that is situated on Isla Espanola.
Ports of Call
Isla Isabela, Galapagos Islands
Journey to the most isolated area in the world: the Galapagos Islands. Ruggedly beautiful, Isla Isabela is the largest island and is home to the active volcano Sierra Negra. Check out the fabulous bird life – finches, pink flamingoes , hawks, seals and not to forget the marine iguanas – all go up to making this volcanic island a place like no other on earth.

Isla Floreana, Galpagos Islands
Also known as Isla Santa Maria, Floreana conjures up images of pirates and buccaneers – the historical aspect of the island emerges in the Post Office Bay where a whaling crew deposited a wooden barrel which is to date used as post box! The island has an inactive volcano and one can spot the pink flamingo, pelicans, herons and sea lions. In season the island is a nesting place for seas turtles too.

Isla San Salvador, Galapagos Islands
Don’t be surprised if you think you’ve landed on the moon – the landscape or should we say moonscape is undulating and in shades of black, red and orange. Spot the Galapagos penguins and be sure to visit the Pinnacle Rock one of the best known sights in the Galapagos Islands.

Cruise Lines Sailing in Galapagos Islands:
Celebrity Xpedition
The only major cruise line that operates in this area is Celebrity Cruises and that too with its smallest ship the Xpedition! The ship accommodates 92 passengers only and one can expect all the luxury treatment associated with the Celebrity brand. The reason for such a small ship operating in the islands is that it is adept at maneuvering between the islands and Celebrity Cruises is committed to maintaining the fragile eco system balance within the Galapagos Islands by causing very little or no disturbance to the environment.

Best Time to Cruise
