Cruise from Hawaii
Hawaii is simply lovely: powdery beaches beckon as does the lush vegetation of the islands. Every island in Hawaii maintains its own allure and charm. From the beautiful beaches on the Island of Maui to the manicured isle of Kauai, and the buzzing Waikiki beach in Honolulu, Hawaii is where the people are warm and welcoming and greet you with flower garlands and a smile in their faces.

Highlights of the region:
 • Trek along the lava fields
 • Sunbathe on Waikiki beach and people watch
 • Try your hand at surfing
 • Swim with the dolphins

Departure Ports
Vancouver BC, Canada with Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco on the west coast of USA are the departure ports on the mainland. Honolulu too serves as departure port for some cruise liners if in case you are flying in to Hawaii and then planning on cruising.
Ports of Call
Hawaii’s major island Maui is a top holiday destination. With miles and miles of powdery beaches Maui is the ideal vacation spot for sun worshippers. Water-sports are aplenty, be it windsurfing, whaling, snorkeling, diving and sailing. The lush tropical landscape is draw for nature lovers and the outdoor enthusiast.

Hawaii's most well known island is Oahu which is known for its beautiful beaches and its spectacular views. Watch the daring antics of the surfers or head out to Diamond Head Crater in Waikiki. If that is not enough sip a Mai Tai and watch the Hawaiian girls do the hula dance.

Kauai is not known as "Garden Island," for nothing. Lush green with vegetation and rain forests, Kauai is a paradise island. Go kayaking off the coast or swim in the aqua blue waters - Kauai has it all.

Best Time to Cruise
Hawaii cruises operate the year round, but the best time to cruise is during the summer and fall when the rainfall is low. The downside is that in summer when schools out, the ships are crowded. Price wise the cheapest cruises are from November through February, of course with the exception of holiday sailings during Christmas and New Year.

Must do
Go on a whale watching expedition if you can. Every year, during the winter between November and April around 5000 humpback whales find their way from the icy waters of Alaska to the warmer climes of Hawaii to mate and give birth. The most frequented areas are waters around Maui, Lanai and Molokai islands. It is an amazing sight to see the humpback whale ‘blow’. How do you spot the ‘blow’? Scrutinize the waters and look for a large splash – probably caused by a whale slapping its tail. Keep watching the area for about 20 minutes or so and the whale is bound to come up again and ‘blow’!
