Driving Direction to Bandipur National Park

Start from Bangalore, take the Mysore Road and get onto the State Highway 17/ SH17 to reach Channapatna.

Channapatna is known for its wooden toys, you can pick some before proceeding; from here continue travelling on SH 17 and reach Mandya via Maddur.

Mandya is at a distance of 38 kms from Channapatna.

From Mandya you need to continue on SH 17 for about 46 kms and you will reach Mysore.

Mysore is a landmark destination where you need to consider a stopover, consider picking up a lovely Mysore Silk Sari or some Mysore sandalwood.

Visit the local eateries in Mysore and dig into some Bisibelebhaath and MysorePak.

From Mysore you need to take NH 212 and reach Gundlupet via Nanjangud.

The distance would be 59 to 60 kms roughly.

From Gundlupet, you need to take NH 67 and drive for 17 kms to reach Bandipur.
