The Satpura Tiger Reserve, located amidst the Satpura Range is a pristine wildlife habitat. The park popular with nature lovers is located in the south of Madhya Pradesh about 210 kms from the Bhopal city.

Its rugged landscapes marked with sandstone peaks, ravines, narrow gorges and dense forests make it a unique creation of the nature. The green shade covering the hills of the national park adds to its beauty. Satpura Tiger Reserve’s natural environ embraces its wide range of flora and fauna with utmost care. Apart from boasting more than 50 mammal species, 254 bird species and 30 species of reptiles it houses more than 1300 species of plants. The sal and teak trees form the major component of the reserve.
