Driving Direction from Mumbai to Amboli

Distance: 502 km
Driving Time: 10.00 hours

Drive out of Mumbai via CST Road towards Eastern Express Highway/NH3, drive for a short distance before you take a right turn onto Jeejabai Bhonsle Marg.
Drive straight for 4 kms on Jeejabai Bhonsle Marg before you spot a signboard to turn left to get onto Yaswanth Rao Chavan Marg, follow the signboards to switch over to the Sion-Panvel Express Highway.
Drive for another 10 kms on Express Highway before you take a slight left onto Belapur Flyover that merges into Sion- Panvel Express Highway in Navi Mumbai, you will pass by a HP Petrol Pump on this highway, stop here to fill up your fuel tank, grab a bite or use clean washroom in one of the nearby restaurants.
Restart your journey and drive for 7kms before you switch over to get onto the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
Drive straight on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, where you will also pass by a Bharat Petroleum Petrol Pump, you may make a slight detour into Khalapur to get to Mc Donald’s where you may grab a bite, use clean washrooms as well.
Drive on for 94 kms on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway till you reach a fork, keep right at the fork to continue on the same Expressway for about 36 kms.
Follow the sign boards to get onto NH 4/Pune-Bangalore Highway and cross Khed-Shivapur Toll Plaza (you may pay the combine toll tax of INR 110 of Khed-Shivapur and Anewadi Toll Plaza at Khed-Shivapur toll plaza before you continue your journey and follow NH 4).
Drive for another 50 kms on this highway and you will cross a petrol pump, in case you want to refuel your car tank then you may halt here.
Get back onto the same road and drive for another 37 kms before you spot a signboard to switch over to get onto NH 48, drive for 14 kms and follow the signboards to get back onto NH 4 and from here follow the signboards to stay on NH 4, take a few left and right turns and you will come across One Tree Cafe onto Nipani Ajra Link Road, where you may halt for refreshments, or use the rest room.
Restart your journey and get back onto the road again, follow the sign boards and drive on for 14 kms to get onto Gadhinglaj Gargoti Road.
Follow direction boards on Gadhinglaj Gargoti Road to get onto Amboli Ajra Road and after driving for another 27 kms take a right turn on Sawantwadi Road.
Keep following the signboards to get onto SH 121 and once on this highway drive on for another 2 kms before you take a left turn towards Amboli.

Driving Direction from Pune to Amboli

Distance: 156 km
Driving Time: 3.00 hours

Driving out of Pune and get onto NH 4, drive for 70 kms and take a right onto Mumbai-Pune Expressway, you will pass by a petrol pump on your way, halt here to refuel your car tank if need be and move on to reach Lonavla and Khandala.
If you have extra time you may halt at Lonavala or Khandala to grab a quick bite or to use clean washrooms.
After spending some time amidst the scenic beauty of Lonavala and Khandala get onto the Sion - Panvel Express Highway, drive for 5 kms, you will pass Jagruteshwar Shiv Mandir.
Drive on and make your way on to Vashi Bridge, the road here merges on to Yaswanth Rao Chavan Marg, take the third exit from the roundabout for Yaswanth Rao Chavan Marg to get onto VN Purav Marg.
Drive on and follow the sign boards to continue onto Ghatkopar Mahal Road, cross Mangalam and continue going straight to Mahatma Gandhi Road, after reaching the Mathuradas Vasanji Road, you will pass by petrol pump drive on and get onto Guru Hargovindji Road.
Drive for about 5 kms on the Guru Hargovindji Road to get onto the Caesar Road and you will reach Amboli! .
