Driving Direction from Mumbai to Ganpatipule

Distance: 322 km

To drive from Mumbai to Ganapatipule one can take the Mumbai-Goa Road (328 kms stretch), which includes a ferry ride.
However, if you want to avoid ferry ride, opt for the Mumbai - Pune Expressway, which is 473 kms.
For Mumbai-Goa Rd route get on to the CST Road to drive out of Mumbai and make sure to take to the Eastern Express Highway, though, on this route you will find many road side eateries but we would suggest you to pack light lunch for your journey.
Drive on Eastern Express Highway and you will go through a roundabout and from here it is a drive for 2 kms and take the slight left onto Sumannagar Bridge.
Once on this bridge look for a sign board to continue onto V N Purav Marg and drive on for another 3 kms before you cross a petrol pump where you may halt to fuel up your car tank.
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to get onto Yaswanth Rao Chavan Marg and from here continue driving for another 6 kms before you take the Vashi Bridge.
After 2 kms continue onto Sion-Panvel Express Highway and keep going straight for 10 kms before you take a slight left onto Belapur Flyover that further merges again into Sion-Panvel Express Highway.
Drive on for 7 kms before you will cross petrol pump and look for a sign board to continue on NH 4.
From here it is a drive of another 7 kms before you turn right onto JNPT Rd/NH 4B and then continue driving for another 10 minutes while looking out for a sign board to take NH 66.
Keep going on this road for 34 kms to continue onto Mumbai-Goa Road and once on this road it is a drive of another 147 kms before you cross a petrol pump on your left.
Take a right turn towards SH 78 and drive for 39 kms while following signboards to get onto Major State Highway 4/ MSH 4, drive for 13 kms and here comes the fun part of the road trip.
From here take a ferry ride to Jaigad, which is a 3 kms stretch and then continue straight to stay on MSH4 as you continue driving for another 20 kms before you reach your final destination Ganapatipule.

Driving Direction from Pune to Ganpatipule

Distance: 275 km
Driving Time: 7.00 hours

Drive out of Pune via National Highway 4/NH4, and drive on for few a short distance, follow the sign boards and continue onto Paud Rd, you will pass by two petrol pumps on this road, in case you need to fill up your fuel tank.
Continue driving on Paud Road for about 32 kms and get onto Mulshi Rd, on your way you will pass by Paradise Café, where you may halt to grab a quick bite and use clean washrooms, drive further for approximately 52 kms and get onto State Highway 97.
Drive for 18 kms on SH 97 and take a turn towards Mumbai-Goa Road, keep driving on this road for about 113 kms and turn right toward SH78, drive for a couple of kilometers on this highway and you will pass by Rampur Police Station on your left.
Drive on SH 78 for 39 kms and take a left turn on MSH 4, follow the sign boards and stay on MSH 4 for 12 kms.
Now comes the fun part of the trip, take a ferry ride to Jaigad, which is a 3 kms stretch, then continue straight to stay on MSH4, drive on for 19 kms and you will reach Ganpatipule.
