History

Bhandeshwar & Sandeshwar Jain Temples are one of the oldest temples of Rajasthan. The temples were built in the 14th century by a rich Jain merchant Bhandasa Oswal and were named after the two brothers ‘Bhandeshwar’ & ‘Sandeshwar’.

The Jain Temple is dedicated to the 23rd Tirthankara Parshvanathji. The Temple is constructed from red stone and fine white marbles adorn its floor. You will find delicate glass works, carvings and gold-leaf paintings in the Temple. This old temple marks the religious splendor of Rajasthan, which is worth visiting!

The best time to visit the this place is from October to March when the weather is pleasant to explore these temples.
