Driving Direction to Yelagiri

Driving Direction from Bengaluru (Bangalore) to Yelagiri

Distance: 163 km
Driving Time: 4.00 hours

From Bangalore head towards Electronic City to get onto National Highways 7/NH 7.
From here continue driving on NH 7 for 28 kms and get onto Bukkasandiram Road.
Drive for a short while and take the first left toward Bukkasagaram Road, continue for 6 kms and turn left at SBI Kamandoddi Branch onto NH 7.
Continue on NH 7 for about 29 kms and you will pass by a petrol pump, halt here to fuel up your car tank and continue on the same highway for some 8 kms, you will pass by Krishnagiri Toll Gate.
Look up for sign boards and get onto NH 48, continue for about 44 kms and turn right onto Kethandapatti Road.
Drive for a short while and take a left turn towards SH-18/Salem-Tirupattur-Vaniyambadi Road, follow the direction board and drive for 5 kms to get onto Yelagiri Road.
Keep driving on Yelagiri road for about 13 kms and a few left and right turns will take you to Yelagiri.

Driving Direction from Chennai to Yelagiri

Distance: 228 km
Driving Time: 5.00 hours

Take the road towards the NH4 to drive out of Chennai and go straight on this highway till you reach Koyambedu Junction, keep straight towards Sriperumbudur and you will cross Poonamalle on your way.
On reaching Sriperumbudur you will come across the first toll booth on this road, from here follow the sigh boards and get onto the NH 46.
Drive for about 60 kms on NH 46, follow the sign boards and you will reach Chennasamudram.
At Chennasamudram you will pass by another toll plaza, drive on to reach Walajapet, where you may stop for some refreshments at the Fishermen’s Fare Restaurant, which is on the highway between Walajapet and Vellore.
After freshening up at Walajapet restaurant you may also stop by one of the petrol pumps in the region to refuel your car tank.
Restart your journey and drive further for about 42 kms on the NH 46, keep looking for sign boards and you will reach Vellore.
Vellore also has good restaurants where you may take a break or use clean washrooms, refuel your car tank if needed and continue your journey.
Continue driving for about two hours from Vellore and you will spot another toll booth at Pallikonda, drive on for approximately 52 kms before you reach Ambur.
From Ambur follow the sign boards and drive for another 20 kms to reach Vaniyambadi, where you will spot fourth and the last toll plaza on this route, continue from here for 12 kms and you will cross Chinnaveppambattu and Mandalavadi before you reach your final destination – Yelagiri.
