Driving Direction from Chandigarh to Corbett national park

Distance: 326 km
Driving Time: 8.00 hours

From Chandigarh, get onto Dakshin Marg – fill up your car tank from the petrol pump here follow the sign boards drive for 10 kms to reach Dera Basi and take NH 73, drive for around 14 kms and take a slight left onto SH 1.
Continue to follow SH 1 for about 68 kms till you each Jagadhri, and then take a right turn at Chowk Bazaar to get onto NH 73A and continue straight on Old Saharanpur Road, keep driving for 10 kms, follow the sign boards to get onto NH 73 and keep driving for approximately 35 kms till Saharanpur, you will pass by a petrol pump within 22 km on this stretch.
You may halt at Saharanpur at Gurunank Dhaba on NH 73 to take a break from driving and eat sumptuous meal, restart your journey and drive on the same highway for 38 kms, you will pass a petrol pump on your left, en route.
On approaching Roorkee, take a slight left onto NH 58 and continue on this route for next 30 kms till you reach Haridwar, halt in HAridwar to refuel your car tank or to grab a quick bite in any of the restaurants that serve good vegetarian food.
Hit the road again and at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit to get onto NH 74, continue driving on this route for 50 kms till Najibabad and stay on as the road turns MDR 161W / Nagina - Najibabad Road and drive on till Nagina.
From Nagina, head towards Dhampur Bypass and drive on for around 40 kms on this stretch, and turn left onto Kalagarh Road and drive for 12 kms, continue onto Kalagarh Dam Road and within a short distance you will reach Jim Corbett National Park.

Driving Time: 5.00 hours

The best route to drive on from Delhi to Corbett is NH 24.
Head out of Delhi by taking the Noida Link Road and continue towards NH 24 (Hapur Road); fuel up your car from the petrol pump on NH 24 and drive on for 40 km.
Just before Hapur, take the Hapur Bypass and drive on for next 14 km.
Stop for a wholesome meal and to freshen up at the Bhajan Dhaba in Garmukhteshwar – do try the lip-smacking aloo paranthas here! You may also take a small detour to Garmukhteshwar Temple and Brij Ghat.
Continue on NH 24 followed by Ganga Bridge, soon you will pass by BP petrol pump on your left – in case you are running low on fuel, you can stop here for tanking up your vehicle.
From here, within 12 km you will pass by Gajraula, where you can stop at the roadside ‘Pahalwan Dhaba’ just in case you want to have a quick snack.
Back on the road, take the first left onto SH 1, and follow the sign boards to stay on the road for next 38 km before you turn right for Chandpur-Nahtaur Road.
There is an IBP petrol pump on the way, where you can refuel your car and then continue driving for 23 km before taking a left for Noorpur-Nehtaur Road/SH 77.
At the roundabout just a kilometre ahead, take the 3rd exit for Nehtaur-Dhampur Road/SH 12, and go straight on this road for 11 km.
At the next roundabout, take the exit for NH 74; you can stop for a meal at the Tadka restaurant near Dhampur.
Hit the road again, and keep driving on NH 74 for 27 km.
Take a slight right to get on to Kalagargh Road.
And continue driving for another 13 km.
Turn right, and just 7 km ahead on the road you will spot the wildlife haven of Jim Corbett.
