Activities in Mussoorie

There are many outdoor activities in Mussorie to keep you occupied and ensure that you have a fun packed holiday. Take a cable car ride from The Mall to Gun Hill, where you can spend the afternoon enjoying lunch at the revolving restaurant or just relax and enjoy a panoramic view of the Himalayas and of Mussoorie. Take a pony ride around the Mall, but if you are more adventurous and riding ponies in a crowded mall does not appeal to you there are a lot of excellent options for trekking in the region.

From Mussoorie short treks lead up to higher points with exalting views of mountain peaks towering well over 6,000 metres. The route from Mussorie to Nagtibba goes past Thatyur and Devalsari, both have basic accommodation. Between Devalsari and Nagtibba, camps need to be set up. The route back to Mussoorie is via Panthwari, Nainbagh and Kempty Falls. A short 15 km trek route leads from Mussoorie to the temple of Bhadraj through Park Toll, Clouds End and Dudhli. The temple located on a vantage point, offers views of the Doon valley as well as the Chakrata range and the Jaunsar Bawar region of the Garhwal Himalayas.
