Where to Stay in Rishikesh

Places to stay in Rishikesh can be broadly divided into two categories- resorts and adventure camps. The town has plenty of resorts dotting its scenic venues that offer divine views of the river Ganga. On the other hand, camps are concentrated at places that are not far from the town but close to the gurgling waters that are appealing enough for adventure enthusiasts.

If you are an adrenaline junkie and want to stick close to the waters for some action packed activities then a place like Camp Gold Coast might just be what you need. This lavish camp with furnished rooms offer good facilities for comfortable stay. The camp is located near Byasi, at Singthali, 30 Kms from Rishikesh. You can also try The Camp: 5 Elements situated 30 Kms from Rishikesh Bus stand at Kaudiyala has 30 rooms equipped with basic amenities for a comfortable stay close to a stream.

Camp RapidFire is equally at par with other camps that supplement luxurious accommodation with aquatic activities. For an affordable alternative check out the Wanderlust Camp that is located 17 kms away from the town.

You can also try VNA Resort that is hardly 25 Kms from the town and ideal for those who wish to stay indoors. For leisure seekers Ananda and the Glasshouse on the Ganges are two well known luxury hotels.

If you are an outdoor enthusiast then Latitude 30° - N, Ganga – the new activotel is an ideal place for you to stay in Rishikesh. Located at a distance of 30 kms from Rishikesh on the Badrinath/Devprayag Road, this new activotel offers a complete outdoor experience. The cottages are spread on a hillside and need a little bit climbing which adds on to the outdoor experience.
