Eating Out in Genting Highlands

Genting is a melting pot of oriental flavours. There’s Japanese, Korean, Thai and but obvious Chinese cuisine to chose from the menu at most of its eateries which offer steaming delicacies at great prices.

Come to the First World Plaza and you’ll be greeted by whiffs of Asian and Continental food from all its corners. The question is where to go for a good meal? The answer is anywhere. But if you want to go beyond the good and the better for the best then opt for First World Café , a popular eatery that serves Asian, Middle-Eastern and fusion buffet. For a bowl of hot soup, dim sums and delicious chicken rice enter the Hainan Kitchen, a Chinese restaurant.

If you’ve tasted the Kentucky Fried Chicken then you must try out Genting’s version of the same recipe at Marry Brown , a local fast food outlet. And while strolling through the walkways dig into the fried ice cream (Aiskrim Goreng) at one of the stalls to complete this gastronomic experience.

The nightlife in Genting is just so vibrant that you may never want to go to sleep. Once the sun has set its discos come to life with lights dancing on their floors to music arranged by local DJs and bars are abuzz with visitors clinking glasses. You can dance through the night at Genting Hotel’s Safari Disco . For snacks, drinks and more dancing head to Cloud 9 , a lounge and bar facility at Genting Hotel’s indoor theme park.
