Getting around in Portugal

By air: TAP connects the domestic destinations quite well. There is also the subsidiary Portugalia, which flies to Azora and thereabouts.

By road: You could hire a care and drive around. Make sure you have an International Driving license. Driving is to the right. Petrol is expensive. If you don’t wish to drive but still track the countryside, several private bus operators offer regular service from Lisbon to many major Portuguese destinations.
