Tourist Info: The Tourism Authority of Johannesburg is called Satour and has offices/desks at the airport as well as in the city. These sell brochures that should ideally have been given for free. The Johannesburg Publicity Association also volunteers information from its desk at the Rotunda bus station (where long-distance buses congregate) and in the city center near Kruis St, but it is usually not very helpful. Reliable local information can also be found at hotels and hostels. Please note that to book national parks or guided tours for safaris, the authority concerned is the National Parks Board in Pretoria.
