How to Get to Ibiza by Air

Es Codolar International Airport is the closest airport. There are several flights arriving every day from major Spanish cities as well as from Palma de Mallorca and UK destinations. From the airport you can hire a cab to get to the island.

By Ferry

Trans- Mediterranean runs a ferry service from Barcelona to Ibiza four times a week. Also, there is a boat from Valencia which runs every day along with four other boats from Palma on the Mallorca Island. The port is located just a few kilometres away from Ibiza Town. You can check with your travel agent and find out the proper schedule.

How to Get to Ibiza by Rail

There is no Rail Network in Ibiza. You can only get to the Islands by air or by ferry.

Getting Around Ibiza

The island of Ibiza boasts an extensive bus service in the summer months. The bus connects to all resorts and popular beaches. However, there are two shifts, running from 7 am to 10 pm and then from midnight till 6 am in the morning. The buses are air-conditioned and an extremely economical form of transport. Taxis are a comfortable way to travel as well. You can travel anywhere and at any time of the day or night, the rent is charged on a metre system.
