Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Prague
Upon arrival in Prague, take a transfer to Prague hotel by private car. Spend the rest of the day exploring Prague on your own or opt for optional dinner on Vlatava River cruise. Tour includes three hours' cruise with buffet dinner and welcome drink. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Prague (city sightseeing tour)
After enjoying breakfast, start your day with Prague city tour on our air-conditioned bus. During the tour you'll see Wenceslas Square, National Museum, view of Prague Castle, Lesser Town and Charles Bridges. Then continue walking through the courtyards of Prague Castle learning about its history and visit the interior of its most important landmark, St. Vitus Cathedral. After a 60-minute walk, board the bus again going through Lesser Town to Kampa Island and walk across the Charles Bridge from where you take a walk through the Old Town and Jewish Town. The sightseeing tour ends at the Old Town Square with the Orloj (Prague Astronomical clock) on Old Townhall and Tyn Cathedral. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Prague - full-day Karlovy tour (optional)
After a delicious breakfast, start your day with an optional tour to Karlovy. Tour includes a renowned spa town located in Western Bohemia, which gained its reputation thanks to the discovery of hot mineral springs, dating back to the middle ages. The water of this hot spring is used to treat all kinds of disorders. Today, there are 12 hot springs in here and during the tour you get the chance to taste the water. The Vridlo is one of the best known springs while the Sprudel belches its curative water to a height of 17m. This spa town has also been popular for the production of world famous Bohemian Czech crystal Moser, with local china production known as Karlovarsky porcelain. It is also famous for the production of delicious herb spirit Becherovka. After lunch you, you will see the spa center and if you feel like swimming, then dip into the outdoor swimming pool. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Prague - Vienna (optional Schonbrunn concert)
After enjoying breakfast, take a transfer to Prague station to board train to Vienna station. Transfer to the hotel on your own. Spend the rest of the day exploring Vienna on your own or opt for optional tour to Schonbrunn concert in the evening at 2030 hrs. This very professionally performed classical concert takes place in the Orangerie of Schonbrunn Palace. The concert is in two halves with the orchestra playing Mozart in the first half and Strauss in the second. The orchestra comprises 18 musicians with a conductor (from November to March only 6 - 8 musicians), 2 opera singers and a pair of ballet dancers. The Orangerie Schonbrunn opens out onto part of Schonbrunn Palace's gardens, where you can walk during the interval as well as before and after the performance. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Vienna (city sightseeing tour with Schonbrunn Palace)
After a hearty breakfast, start your day with Vienna city tour which will introduce you to the most important sights of the Austrian capital. As you move around the famous 'Ringstrasse', Vienna's main boulevard, we pass by the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Parliament building, the Burgtheater (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University. Then drive along the Danube Canal and pass by Hundertwasser's 'Kunsthaus' and the Prater Park with its Giant Ferris Wheel. The highlight of this programme is the visit to Schonbrunn Palace where we take a tour of some of the most magnificently decorated rooms. We return to the city centre, passing by Belvedere Palace, where you will have the opportunity to end your tour, or choose to continue to the State Opera House, where the tour ends. Spend the later part of the day exploring on your own. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Vienna - Budapest (optional city sightseeing tour)
After a delectable breakfast, transfer to Vienna station on your own to board train to Budapest. Take a transfer to the hotel on your own. In the afternoon at 1430 hrs, opt for optional Budapest city tour where you will be passing by the Parliament building before crossing the Danube on the Margaret Bridge and drive to the Royal Castle on the Buda side of the city. Here you will have some free time to yourself to visit the Fishermen's Bastion, which offers stunning views over the city and the Mathias Church. Your tour will continue to the Gillert Hill before crossing the Elisabeth Bridge from where you will drive towards the Heroes' Square. Passing by the Opera and St Stephen's Basilica you will reach the Hotel Intercontinental where your tour will end. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Budapest
After an appetizing breakfast, start your day with full day Danube bend tour. The Danube Bend Tour is an excursion into Hungary's history; you will be taken to Visegrad, the former Royal Residence and to Esztergom, centre of the Catholic Church. After a visit to the Cathedral, have a good lunch (3-course menu). Now move on to Szentendre where you will have a guided walk. You will visit the magnificent Caprice Hungarian Jewellery Museum, followed by coffee and soft drinks before returning to Budapest on the Danube by boat. The tour ends at the pier in Budapest. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Departure
After enjoying breakfast, check-out of your hotel and proceed towards airport by private car to board the return flight.
