Kailasa and Mansarover are as old as the Creation itself and believed to be the centre of the Universe and the ultimate pilgrim destination for the Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and the Bongo. Kailash is considered as the holiest mountain on earth through millennia and monks, yogis and pilgrims from all over the world have travelled for a Darshan of this sublime peak to attain moksha. Kailash is the abode of Lord Shiva and his divine consort Parvathi and this radiant peak is considered to be the throne of Truth, Wisdom and Bliss and it is at this apex where the Sound and the Light merge into OM. The grand view of Gulra Mandhata, Mansarover and Ravana Lake hypnotises the onlooker into subliminal aura. Ravana is claimed to have prayed at this lake and had the audience with Shiva. Mansarover was created by Brahma and is said to contain the essence of all the Vedas. This bluish, green emerald or pure turquoise calm water is the place for holy ceremonial bath. It's believed that he who takes a holy dip at Mansarover lake, at 15,000 feet above sea level and completes the Parikrama around Kailash is absolved of his sins through generations.
